Let’s Start Over

A summer off from running due to plantar fasciitis: ✅

6 weeks of physical therapy to deal with the plantar fasciitis: ✅

Set up a race training log in your Bullet Journal: ✅

Pick up the second pair of shoes you’ll use for race training: ✅

Yup, that’s right, your girl starts race training tomorrow. What’s on the schedule? The Trinity River Half Marathon (November), the BMW Dallas Half Marathon (December), and (finally) the Cowtown Marathon (March 2020)!

When I started the year, I hadn’t envisioned taking almost 3 months off from running, and it’ll be interesting to see how that time does or doesn’t impact my ability to hit all the goals I set for myself in January. In the meantime, thought, I’m just looking forward to getting back into the rhythm of race training. I hadn’t realized until earlier today just how much I’ve missed the demands and routine of race training. Honestly, tomorrow might as well be Christmas morning given how excited I am to get back to work!

Allonsy!
